My training partner who uses whey protein exclusively for protein supplementation went for his over the hill (just turned 40) 5oldnm and had all the Links performed including blood work. As soon as he got home he phoned again and said "that's it, this stuff is outrageously high in cholesterol. You better go get checked too!" I said calmly no bro, I use Egg protein and my cholesterol didn't even register on my last blood test.
Long story short, John changed to Egg protein and in only 2 months his cholesterol was in the normal range and falling. I know, I know, some people have a propensity to have higher cholesterol readings due to genetics and other factors, I'm just warning you to be careful and add a little Egg protein to your diet.
